The food retail industry comprises foods sold at food retailers such as grocery stores, mass merchandisers, drug stores, convenience stores and foodservice facilities. Total sales in the United States amounted to about 5.32 trillion U.S. dollars in 2015.

Supplementation 

The world’s population is expected to reach almost 10 billion by 2050. The current food system will not be able to feed that number, and so we must look to new and unique ways of solving the issues of food security and global hunger. Clean meat provides a perfect solution to all these problems.

According to the American Pet Products Association (APPA), revenue in the pet industry is expected to be $62.75 billion in 2016, an increase of more than 4% over 2015. The average annual growth rate since 2002 is 5.4%, and revenue has been growing steadily for well over 20 years.
